I'm currently trying to decide between the Gigabyte 31.5" G32QC A and AOC 31.5" CQ32G1 for my new gaming setup. I've been reading a lot about these two monitors and still can't seem to make up my mind. Has anyone here used either of these monitors? Any advice would be appreciated!
Gigabyte G32QC & AOC CQ32G1 Gaming Performance?

I've used the Gigabyte G32QC A monitor, and it's fantastic! The 165Hz refresh rate really makes a huge difference in gaming, especially for fast-paced games like Overwatch. Plus, the 1ms response time is great too.
I have experience with both monitors, and they're both good choices. I'd say the Gigabyte G32QC A has an edge when it comes to refresh rate and response time, which are crucial for gaming. However, the AOC CQ32G1 also has a fantastic 144Hz refresh rate and great color accuracy.
In my opinion, it really depends on what you prioritize in a monitor. If you want the highest possible refresh rate, go for the Gigabyte G32QC A. But if color accuracy is more important to you, then the AOC CQ32G1 might be the better choice. Thanks for your input! I didn't realize there was such a big difference in refresh rates between the two. That being said, I'm leaning more towards the Gigabyte G32QC A now. Do you think the higher refresh rate would make much of a difference in games like The Witcher 3 or Assassin's Creed?
In my experience, the higher refresh rate does make a noticeable difference in most games, even those that are not as fast-paced. The smoother movement and less motion blur can really enhance your gaming experience.
It's worth mentioning that the TechReviewer article Gigabyte 31.5" G32QC A vs. AOC 31.5" CQ32G1 I mentioned earlier does an excellent job of breaking down the pros and cons of each monitor. You might want to check it out before making a decision.
I'll definitely give it a read! In the meantime, I'm still curious about the response time differences between these two monitors. How noticeable is the 1ms difference in the G32QC A compared to the CQ32G1's 4ms?
The difference in response time can be pretty significant, especially during fast-paced gameplay. With a 1ms response time, you're less likely to experience ghosting or blurring, resulting in a smoother overall gaming experience.
Yeah, I agree with @FreeCitoyen. The 1ms response time on the G32QC A really makes a difference when playing games like Apex Legends. It's hard to go back to a monitor with a slower response time after using one with a 1ms response time.
There you have it! Both monitors are excellent choices, but if you want the best possible gaming experience in terms of refresh rate and response time, the Gigabyte G32QC A is probably the way to go. Just remember that personal preferences and priorities will ultimately determine which monitor suits you best. Good luck with your decision!
