I'm looking to buy a new gaming monitor and I'm debating between the Gigabyte G27QC and M27Q X. Can anyone provide some insights on which one is better for gaming?
Gigabyte G27QC vs. M27Q X for Gaming

The M27Q X has a higher refresh rate (240Hz) compared to the G27QC's 165Hz, so it would probably offer smoother gameplay.
I have read an excellent comparison article on TechReviewer that compares these two monitors in detail. It can be found here Gigabyte 27" G27QC A vs. Gigabyte 27" M27Q X. According to that review, both have their strengths and weaknesses, but if you prioritize smoothness and higher refresh rates, the M27Q X might be a better choice.
Thanks for sharing the link @DJredditer. What about response times? I've heard that's an important factor as well.
The response time on both monitors is 1ms, so they're equally fast in that regard.
I recently got the M27Q X and it's been great for gaming. The higher refresh rate definitely makes a noticeable difference in the fluidity of gameplay. I would recommend it.
That's good to hear @ignatiousp. What about the color accuracy? How does the M27Q X compare to the G27QC?
The M27Q X has slightly better color accuracy with a 92% DCI-P3 compared to the G27QC's 88% DCI-P3, according to the TechReviewer article I mentioned earlier Gigabyte 27" G27QC A vs. Gigabyte 27" M27Q X.
Thank you all for your input. It seems like the M27Q X might be the better choice for me. But how important is color accuracy for gaming anyway?
Color accuracy is not as critical for gaming compared to other factors like refresh rate and response time, but it can make a difference in some games, particularly those with more vibrant graphics.
Great, thanks everyone. I think I'll go with the M27Q X based on your suggestions. I'm looking forward to getting that higher refresh rate experience.
