Gigabyte G27F - Good for Comp. Gaming?

I'm thinking about upgrading my gaming setup and considering the Gigabyte G27F monitor. Can anyone give me some input on whether it's good for competitive gaming?

It depends on your preferences. The Gigabyte G27F has a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time which is great for fast-paced games.

Thanks for sharing your experience, @goodscalp. How about the color accuracy? I've heard that competitive gamers care a lot about that.

I'm also curious about how well it handles dark scenes. I mostly play games at night and need a monitor with good blacks.

The color accuracy is pretty decent, but you might not get the full 95% DCI-P3 coverage of some higher-end monitors. For competitive gaming, though, this shouldn't be a big issue.

As for dark scenes, I've had no problems at all with the Gigabyte G27F. The contrast ratio is good, and blacks look deep and inky without any light bleed.
