Gigabyte AORUS FV43U & Asus XG43UQ Refresh Rates - Gaming Comparison?

I'm considering getting a new monitor for gaming and came across the Gigabyte 43" AORUS FV43U. I was wondering if it's any good? Has anyone tried it?

I've been using the Asus 43" XG43UQ for quite some time, and it's also an excellent monitor for gaming. Both the Gigabyte 43" AORUS FV43U and Asus 43" XG43UQ have fantastic refresh rates of 144 Hz and response times of 1 ms.

That's interesting! I didn't know about the Asus 43" XG43UQ. Thanks for sharing, @PorkChopHill. What are your thoughts on their display panel type? I've heard VA is good for gaming but curious to hear from someone who has used it.

I've been comparing the Gigabyte AORUS FV43U and Asus XG43UQ for a while now. The refresh rates of both are indeed excellent for gaming. However, I also found that their color capability is quite impressive, especially the AORUS FV43U with 96% DCI-P3 compared to the XG43UQ's 90% DCI-P3.

Haha, well, one time I was playing a game with my friends and we were all on voice chat. Suddenly, I started laughing because I accidentally put the refresh rate setting to 300 Hz for a moment! It was hilarious because everything was moving so fast on screen that it looked like a GIF.

Haha, that's a funny story, @yogomushi! Another thing that's worth mentioning is that both these monitors have a really nice stand. The AORUS FV43U has an adjustable height and tilt, which I find very convenient for my setup.

Yeah, I agree with you on the stands, @PorkChopHill. They are both quite ergonomic and help me maintain a good posture while gaming.
