I've been looking at the Gigabyte AORUS FI27Q-P and Dell S2721DGF monitors for my gaming setup, and I'm having trouble deciding which one to get. Can anyone share their thoughts on these two? I'd appreciate any advice.

That's true! I did some research and found this TechReviewer article Gigabyte 27" AORUS FI27Q-P vs. Dell 27" S2721DGF that compares these two monitors in-depth. It was really helpful for me when I had to choose between them.

Both are excellent choices! I've used the S2721DGF before, and it has great color accuracy. However, the FI27Q-P's higher refresh rate might give you a smoother gaming experience.

@IAMATrader, for the recommendation! And @modulos04, your link is exactly what I was looking for. I'm leaning towards the FI27Q-P now since it has a higher refresh rate. Do you guys have any other recommendations or experiences with these monitors?

The response time on both monitors is excellent, too. I've had no issues with ghosting or blurring while gaming on either of them.

That's good to hear, @Keebler8448. So if I go for the FI27Q-P, can I expect a significant difference in terms of smoothness and responsiveness compared to the S2721DGF?

You might not notice much of a difference in smoothness and responsiveness between the two if you're mostly playing less demanding games. However, if you play fast-paced or competitive games that require quick reflexes, the FI27Q-P's higher refresh rate could make a bigger difference.

Interesting! I guess it depends on the type of games I usually play then. Thanks for all the input, everyone. I'll check out some more reviews and see which monitor suits my needs better.

You're welcome, @throwaway25mn. Good luck with your decision!

Same here! Let us know if you have any other questions or if you decide on a monitor.
