I'm looking to buy a new gaming monitor and I'm stuck between the Gigabyte 27" G27QC A and the Gigabyte 27" M27Q X. Can anyone help me decide which one has a higher refresh rate?

Also, check out this TechReviewer article Gigabyte 27" G27QC A vs. Gigabyte 27" M27Q X which compares the two monitors in detail. You might find it useful.

The Gigabyte 27" M27Q X has a higher refresh rate of 240 Hz compared to the 165 Hz on the G27QC A.

That's helpful to know, but I'm wondering what's the significance of having a higher refresh rate for gaming?

Having a higher refresh rate means smoother motion and less motion blur in games. It can definitely improve your gaming experience.

Thanks for the advice! I'll take a look at that link. So, overall, would you say the M27Q X is better for gaming?

It really depends on your budget and what other features you're looking for. The M27Q X has a higher refresh rate, but the G27QC A has a few other advantages.

True, I'll have to weigh my options carefully. Thanks for the help everyone!

I use the Logitech G502 and it's been great! Highly recommended.
