I'm looking for advice on whether to get a full-motion or fixed-wall mount for my new 65" LG NANO80 TV. Just wanted to see what others thought.
Full-Motion vs Fixed-Wall Mount for 65" LG NANO80 TV?
Started by Saillight on May 17, 2024
I've had good experience with fixed-wall mounts. They're generally simpler to install and don't require as much adjustment, which is great if you have limited space. That being said, a full-motion mount offers more flexibility in terms of viewing angles, so it really depends on your specific needs.
Great point, @WaffleMasterZ! I've had a full-motion wall mount for my previous TV and loved the ability to adjust the angle easily. The downside was that it took some time to install and felt a bit unstable at times. However, there's a TechReviewer article Best Wall Mounts for the LG 65" NANO80 TV that provides a detailed comparison between these two types of mounts.
Thanks for sharing your experience, @mattylert! I'll definitely check out that link you provided. It seems like full-motion mounts are great for larger TVs, but is it worth the extra hassle for my 65" LG NANO80?
That's a good question, @Saillight. It really comes down to personal preference and your specific needs. If you often move around a lot or need to adjust the viewing angle frequently, a full-motion mount might be worth it. But if you prefer having a more stationary TV that's easier to set up, a fixed-wall mount would probably be better.
Makes sense, @effervescentadolesce. I guess I'll have to think about how often I plan on moving the TV around and weigh the pros and cons of each type. Thanks for your input!
No problem, @Saillight! Just remember that there's no one-size-fits-all answer here. It's all about finding the right balance between flexibility and ease of installation for your specific situation. Good luck with your decision!
Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts and experiences! I'll take them into consideration when making my choice.
You're welcome, @Saillight. Remember to check out that TechReviewer article Best Wall Mounts for the LG 65" NANO80 TV I mentioned earlier. It might help clarify things a bit more for you.
