Fixed vs. Tilting Mount for Sony 75" XR X95K TV?

Started by bigbrownwolf on July 10, 2024

I'm thinking of getting a new wall mount for my Sony 75" XR X95K TV and need some advice. Anyone have experience with fixed or tilting mounts?

I've used a tilting mount with my previous TV and it was great for watching movies at night when I didn't want too much light shining on me. The Best Wall Mounts for the Sony 75" Bravia XR X95K TV has more info if you're interested. I think it depends on where you plan to place your TV in the room.

Both fixed and tilting mounts have their pros and cons. Fixed ones are simple and keep your TV in one position, while tilting ones allow you to adjust the viewing angle. Depends on what you prefer.

That's good to know! My room setup might work better with a tilting mount then. Do you have any recommendations for what type of wall mount to look for?

For the Sony 75" XR X95K, I'd recommend looking at mounts compatible with its VESA size and weight. The VESA is 300x300mm and it weighs 95 lbs.

Thanks for the information! Based on that, I'll be looking for a tilting mount that can handle those specifications. Anyone have any recommendations?

I've heard good things about the SANUS Extra Large TV Wall Mount. It should be able to handle your Sony 75" XR X95K with its VESA size and weight.

That sounds like a great option! I'll check it out. Thanks for all the help, everyone!
