I'm thinking about buying a new CPU and I'm trying to decide between the Intel Core i5-14600K and the Intel Core i7-13700F. Has anyone had experience with these? Any advice would be helpful.

I've been using the i5-14600K for a while now, and it's been working great! For most tasks, I haven't noticed any issues.
Interesting, I'm currently using the Intel Core i7-13700F, and from my experience, it has an efficient cooling solution. You can check out more about it in this TechReviewer article Intel Core i5-14600K vs. Intel Core i7-13700F. The additional L3 cache and performance cores also make a big difference!
That's good to know, thanks! So, I guess the i7-13700F might be better for multitasking or if I plan on doing some heavy lifting with my computer.
Yeah, that could be true. But the i5-14600K is still a solid choice for most people. It's more budget-friendly and still offers great performance.
I'd also like to mention that the i7-13700F has more efficiency cores which are designed to handle lighter tasks and improve power efficiency. So, if you're someone who runs a lot of background apps or uses their computer for long periods without breaks, this could be beneficial.
That's good information. I'll definitely have to consider that. Do any of you know how well these CPUs perform in gaming? I play a variety of games and am curious if one would be better than the other.
For gaming, both CPUs should serve you well. The i7-13700F might give you slightly better performance due to its higher single-core turbo frequency and additional performance cores. But again, it really depends on your specific needs and the games you play. It's always a good idea to check the system requirements for each game you're interested in.
Yeah, I agree with @Informatichannel. Ultimately, both CPUs are capable of running most modern games at decent settings. Just make sure you have a good GPU to complement them.
Thanks for all the advice! I think I'll do some more research and see if I can find any deals on these CPUs. Hopefully, I'll be able to get one soon.
