@rain-forrest, the CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid CPU Cooler is an excellent choice for your Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G. There's a great article on TechReviewer that discusses the best coolers for this processor Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G. I've been using it myself and it works great!
Yeah, I recently upgraded my PC and went with the Noctua NH-D15 air cooler. It was pretty affordable and has served me well so far.
I had a similar issue when building my PC and ended up going with the closed-loop cooler from Corsair. It's quieter than my old air cooler and keeps my CPU cool as ice!
I've heard good things about both the CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid CPU Cooler and Noctua NH-D15. I'm leaning towards the liquid cooler because of the lower noise levels and better cooling performance, but I'm still doing some research.
That's a great point @LaylaSleep. Noise level is definitely an important factor for me too. Did you find the setup process for the liquid cooler to be straightforward?
Yeah, @quantumperson, the setup was pretty simple and straightforward. I followed the instructions that came with the cooler, and it took no time at all to get everything up and running.
And if you're worried about maintenance, it's not too bad either. Just keep an eye on the coolant levels and flush the system every now and then.
Thanks for the advice everyone! I think I'll go with a liquid cooler like @quantumperson suggested and check out that TechReviewer article Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G you mentioned. Hopefully, it will help me make the final decision!
Good luck with your build, @rain-forrest! And don't forget to consider other factors like size, lighting, and price when making your choice.
Absolutely! Those are all important considerations. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions!
Thanks everyone for the input! I appreciate it. Good luck with your own builds and projects!
