I'm looking for some advice on picking out an efficient AIO liquid cooler for my new build with the Intel Core i5-11400F. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

I recently upgraded to the Intel Core i5-11400F and I'm really happy with it. I've been using the Enermax Liqmax III 360 and it's working great for me! There's a good article with an overview of it at Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for Intel's Core i5-11400F. You might want to check that out!

That's super useful! It looks like the refresh rate is 144Hz, which seems like it'd be great for gaming. Does it get too loud when you're using it?

I've been using a Noctua NH-D15 as my CPU cooler and it's been working well so far. The only downside is that it's pretty large, but it does the job without being too noisy.

I'm a fan of closed-loop coolers. I've tried both air and liquid cooling systems, and I've found that AIO coolers are more efficient for my needs. They provide better TDP performance at lower noise levels than air coolers in my experience.

I was thinking about the Enermax Liqmax III 360 as well, but I'm a bit concerned about the maintenance involved with liquid cooling systems. Is it really worth it?

I haven't had any issues with maintenance on my Enermax Liqmax III 360 so far. It's not too bad once you get used to it. The pros definitely outweigh the cons for me.

Thanks for all the input, guys! It seems like the Enermax Liqmax III 360 is a popular choice among you. I think I'll go with that one. Any other tips or tricks for maintaining an efficient cooling system?

One thing to keep in mind is to make sure your cooler has a compatible mounting bracket for your CPU. CPU coolers come with various mounting brackets to accommodate multiple CPU socket sizes.

Good point! The Enermax Liqmax III 360 supports the LGA 1200 socket, so that should be fine for my build.

Thanks again everyone! I think I've got a good idea of what I need now. Have a great day!
