I'm looking for some advice on the best monitor mount to get for my new ViewSonic XG270QG. I've heard of adjustable and fixed mounts, but not sure which one would be better for me.
Differences Between Adjustable & Fixed ViewSonic XG270QG Monitor Mounts?

The main difference is that adjustable mounts offer more flexibility in terms of positioning, while fixed ones are sturdier and take up less desk space. It really depends on what you need. Here's an article comparing them: Monitor Mounts & Stands for ViewSonic's 27" XG270QG.
Thanks for the link, @IAMATrader! I've been using a fixed mount with my previous monitor and it worked great, but the new ViewSonic XG270QG has a higher resolution and I'm thinking that maybe more flexibility would be beneficial.
I've had good experiences with adjustable mounts. They really help with cable management and provide extra USB ports for convenience. @IAMATrader's link might give you some insights on what to look for in an adjustable mount for the XG270QG.
That's interesting, @EvolvingHippie! I never thought about how an adjustable mount could make cable management easier. I'll definitely check out the article and see if it's worth it for me.
Just wanted to share my experience with adjustable mounts. I got one for my ViewSonic XG270QG a few months ago, and I love how customizable it is. It really helps with ergonomics and gives me more space on my desk.
Thanks for the input, @shmoopsie! That's exactly the kind of information I was looking for. I think I'll go ahead and get an adjustable mount for my new monitor.
Awesome, glad to hear it worked out for you, @shmoopsie! I'll probably do the same once I've checked out the article @IAMATrader shared. Thanks everyone!
