Any thoughts on the Dell P2722H for gaming? I'm looking for a good monitor.

Thanks for your input. I found an article on TechReviewer that compares different gaming monitors, including the Dell P2722H and U2720Q. It gives a detailed analysis of their performance in various aspects like refresh rate, response time, resolution, etc. You can check it out here: Is the Dell 27" P2722H Good for Gaming?.

I've been using it, and while it's great for general use, it lacks some features that are essential for serious gamers. The 60Hz refresh rate is not ideal, and you may experience some lag in fast-paced games.

Yeah, I've heard that higher-end monitors with faster refresh rates offer a much smoother gaming experience. What do you think about the Dell U2720Q?

I used the Dell U2720Q for a while, and it's fantastic! The 4K resolution really makes a difference, but it does come at a cost - it's quite pricey.

@HelloMisterOwl Thanks for sharing! I'll take a look at that article. By the way, does the P2722H have good color accuracy?

I've had the P2722H for about a month now, and I'm quite happy with its color accuracy. It's perfect for editing work or watching movies.

@Brushybill1 That's good to know! But what about gaming? How does it perform in fast-paced games?

I've played some games on the P2722H, and while it's not terrible, I did notice a bit of lag in fast-paced games. A higher refresh rate monitor would be better for that.

@deeblowace Thanks for your feedback. It seems like a good monitor overall but might not be the best for competitive gaming. I'll definitely check out that TechReviewer article you mentioned, @HelloMisterOwl.

@merkules No problem! I hope it helps you make an informed decision. Good luck with finding your ideal monitor!

Remember, it all comes down to personal preference and what you prioritize in a gaming setup. Some people might not mind the 60Hz refresh rate, while others prefer higher-end options.

@Verdilac True! I'll weigh my options carefully and see what fits my needs best. Thanks for the discussion!
