I've been looking at the Dell 27" UltraSharp UP2720Q monitor and was curious if anyone has any experience with it or knows what kind of arm type is best for this specific model. Any advice would be appreciated!
Dell 27" UltraSharp UP2720Q Best Arm Type?
Started by soneal01 on July 10, 2024
I have the Dell 27" UltraSharp UP2720Q, and I'm really happy with it so far. As for the arm type, I'd recommend going with either a C-clamp or a grommet mount. Both options should work well with this monitor.
Thanks for sharing your experience, @AlchemistXX. I've been considering the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount (up to 32 inches) or the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount (up to 43 inches). Any thoughts on which one might be better for this monitor?
I recently bought the Dell 27" UltraSharp UP2720Q and went with the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount. It works great with my monitor and provides good stability, cable management solutions, and adjustability for improved ergonomics. That's awesome, @IAMATrader! Thanks for mentioning that article. I'll definitely check it out. So, based on what you all have said, it seems like either a C-clamp or a grommet mount would be good options for this monitor. I might just try one of those and see how it goes.
Sounds like a plan, @soneal01. Just make sure to measure your desk dimensions before purchasing the mount to ensure a proper fit. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice, @AlchemistXX. I'll keep that in mind as I make my decision. Have any of you encountered any issues or challenges while setting up your mounts?
When I first set up my HUANUO mount, I did have a bit of trouble getting the monitor to sit securely on it. But once I figured out the proper placement and adjusted the arm, everything was fine. Just take your time and make sure you're aligning everything correctly.
Thanks for the input, @IAMATrader. That's helpful to know. Alright, I think I'll go ahead and order one of those mounts based on your recommendations. Looking forward to setting it up!
