That's interesting! Have any of you checked out this article on TechReviewer that discusses the TDP, max turbo frequency, and how they affect efficiency? What Is the TDP of the Core i7-11700T CPU? It might give you some useful insights for your video editing setup.

Yeah, I've used the Core i7-11700T for video editing and found it to be really efficient. The 11th generation Intel architecture makes a big difference in performance compared to older models.

Solution

Oh, I didn't know there was an article about it. Thanks for sharing, @doocycle. I'll definitely take a look at that. How about the TDP of this CPU? Is it suitable for video editing tasks?

The TDP of the Core i7-11700T is 35 watts, which should be more than sufficient for most video editing tasks. It's important to choose a power supply with enough wattage to accommodate the TDP and other components.

I agree with @stevebconnect. I've also used the Core i7-11700T for video editing, and it performs great. The 35 watts TDP is perfect for my needs, and I didn't have any issues with overheating or performance.

That's good to hear, @kkirzinger! Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm also curious about the max turbo frequency of this CPU. Does it affect video editing tasks?

The Core i7-11700T can reach a maximum turbo frequency of 4.60 GHz when under heavy workload, which should provide excellent performance for video editing tasks.

I've also been considering the Core i7-11700T for my video editing setup. What about CPU coolers? Should I go for an air cooler or liquid cooling?

For this CPU, you can choose between air and liquid cooling, depending on your budget and preferences. However, since the TDP is only 35 watts, an air cooler should work just fine.

Thanks for all the input, everyone! I'll definitely check out that TechReviewer article @doocycle mentioned and think about my options. Appreciate it!
