I recently bought a Core i5-12600 CPU and I'm curious if it's good for gaming. Can anyone share some insights on its performance?

The Core i5-12600 should serve you well for gaming. It has 6 Performance cores which are great for handling most games without any issues. The DDR5 support with a max stock speed of 4800 MHz can also provide excellent performance.
I've been using the Core i5-12600 for a couple of months now, and I'm quite pleased with its gaming performance. However, it does lack overclocking support which could limit potential improvements in performance. But overall, it's a good option for gaming.
One thing to consider is that the L3 cache of 18 MB might not be enough for some of the latest graphics-intense games. I've noticed that games with more complex visuals sometimes struggle a bit on my setup.

I agree with @BrandonPozo. The PCIe 5.0 support is definitely a plus when it comes to gaming performance. And for me, the higher turbo frequencies really make a difference in maintaining smooth gameplay.
