I've been using it for a while now and it's working fine. The 4 Performance cores provide decent gaming performance. Here's an article discussing this CPU in detail: Is the Core i3-12300T CPU Good for Gaming?.

Thanks, that sounds interesting! How does the DDR5 support affect the overall gaming experience?

I've been using the Core i3-12300T for a couple of months now and it runs most games at decent settings. The DDR5 support with a max stock speed of 4800 MHz can be excellent for performance.

The only downside is that it lacks overclocking support, which could have improved its gaming potential.

Yeah, you're right about the lack of overclocking support. But the PCIe 5.0 support can still enhance your gaming experience when using fast SSDs and GPUs.

That's good to know! I'm also curious about the L3 cache size. Is it adequate for gaming?

The L3 cache size is mediocre for performance with the latest graphics-intense games, so you might want to consider a CPU with a larger cache if you're looking for optimal gaming performance.

True, I've noticed that when playing games like Cyberpunk 2077 or Fortnite, my system does feel a bit strained at times.

Yeah, same here. I'm thinking of upgrading to a CPU with a bigger L3 cache and better overclocking support for more consistent gaming performance.

Thanks everyone for your input! I'll definitely take all this into account when making my decision.
