I've been using the Sony HT-A5000 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos Sound Bar Surround Sound Home Theater with my TV and it's been great so far! Check out this article for more options Best Soundbars for the LG 70" UR8000 series TV.

Thanks, @doocycle! I'm curious about Bluetooth capabilities - does anyone have experience with that on these soundbars?

The Polk Audio Signa S4 Ultra-Slim Sound Bar has good Bluetooth support and it's quite affordable too. I've been happy with its performance so far.

That's helpful, @thenxtAI3. Does anyone know anything about connecting the soundbar to the TV? Are there any specific cables needed?

To connect a soundbar to your LG 70" UR8000 TV, you usually need an optical audio cable or an HDMI ARC/eARC cable. An HDMI cable is recommended for better video and audio quality.

Thanks @Unrageous. What about surround sound formats? I'm not very familiar with them but it seems important.

There are four common surround sound formats you'll encounter with soundbars: Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X. The LG 70" UR8000 series TV supports these formats, so any of the recommended soundbars will work well.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with subwoofers? Are they worth it for a soundbar?

Subwoofers can definitely enhance your audio experience by providing deeper bass. If you have the budget and space, it's worth considering one. Some soundbars even come with built-in subwoofers.

Great info everyone! I think I'll start with a Sony HT-A5000 based on @doocycle's recommendation, but I might look into a subwoofer as well. Thanks for the help!
