Can Intel Core i5-14400 Handle 4K Video Editing? Compare With i9-10850K.

CPU INTEL 14400 10850K

I'm thinking of getting a new CPU for my 4K video editing setup. Can anyone help me out with some advice on whether the Intel Core i5-14400 can handle it? I've heard that the Core i9-10850K is better, but I don't know if it's worth the extra cost.

Thanks @Patrick14 for sharing that article! So, it sounds like if I'm only doing light video editing, the Core i5-14400 should be fine. But if I plan on doing more demanding projects in the future, I might want to consider upgrading to the Core i9-10850K.

Yeah, @Bubbles0680, that's pretty much what I found out too. The i9 is definitely overkill for my current setup, but it's nice to know that I have the option to upgrade later if needed.
