I'm planning to buy a new RAM for my i5-9500 and I'm torn between budget options and high-end ones. Can you share some insights on which one is better for this CPU?
Budget vs. High-End RAM for i5-9500?

Hi @DrWatsman! I'd say it depends on your needs. For casual use and light gaming, budget RAM like the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz should suffice. But if you're into heavy multitasking or high-end gaming, a higher performance option like the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 MHz might be worth the extra cash.
Interesting! I've been reading an article on TechReviewer about this Best RAM for the Intel Core i5-9500 CPU. It gave me some insights on what to consider when choosing RAM for your i5-9500. Check it out if you're interested!
Thanks, @alexfish! I'll definitely give that a read. But based on your experience, @makeitwitu, would the stock speed RAM be enough for my current needs?
I recently upgraded to an i5-9500 and went with the high-end option. It was worth it for me because I do a lot of video editing and multitasking. YMMV though.
Yeah, @DrWatsman, if you're not doing too much heavy lifting, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz should work just fine. But if you think you might need more performance down the line, it's better to invest in a higher-end option from the start.
Thanks for the input, everyone! I'll have to ponder this for a bit before making my decision.
