Solution

I've had the Polk Audio Signa S4 for a while, and it works well with my Hisense TV. It's not as fancy as the Sony one, but it gets the job done. I'll let you all know if I find anything else worth trying out.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm leaning towards the Sony HT-A5000 though. What about HDMI ARC/eARC support on this model? I need that for my setup.

The Sony HT-A5000 does support eARC, so you should be good to go with your Hisense TV. Just make sure to check the manual or contact customer service if you have any doubts.

I'm considering a subwoofer to go with my soundbar, but is it worth it for a budget setup? And what's the best way to connect everything?

A subwoofer can definitely enhance the bass in your audio, especially for action movies and music. As for connecting everything, you might want to look into HDMI ARC/eARC cables and an optical cable for a more seamless connection.

I'll take a closer look at the Sony HT-A5000 and see if it fits my budget. I appreciate all the advice.
