I'm looking for budget-friendly cooling solutions for my new Ryzen 7 4700G CPU. Can anyone recommend a good air cooler that won't break the bank? I've heard Noctua and Corsair are popular brands, but any other suggestions would be great!
Budget Cooling for Ryzen 7 4700G?

Hi @TheMooseburglar! I have been using the Noctua NH-D15 for my Ryzen 7 4700G, and it's been working fantastic! It's an air cooler that offers efficient heat dissipation without being too noisy. Plus, the build quality is top-notch. You can check out this TechReviewer article Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 7 4700G for more details on choosing the best CPU cooler for your Ryzen 7 4700G. I highly recommend giving it a read.
Thanks for the suggestion, @kajsaunicorn! The Noctua NH-D15 seems like a great option. How do you find the noise levels when gaming? I'm not looking to sacrifice too much silence for better cooling.
Hey @TheMooseburglar, I've been using the Corsair H150i liquid cooler with my Ryzen 7 4700G and it's been really good. It's a bit more expensive than air coolers like the Noctua NH-D15, but it offers great cooling performance without much noise. Just make sure you have enough room in your case for the radiator.
That sounds interesting, @CraftyCicada! I'm leaning towards an air cooler due to space constraints in my PC case, though. Any suggestions on other air coolers that might be worth checking out?
Hey @TheMooseburglar! I've been using the Scythe Big Shuriken 2 for my Ryzen 7 4700G, and it's been doing a great job at keeping temperatures low. It's an excellent budget-friendly option with good cooling performance and relatively quiet operation.
Great to know, @SamuraiShareef! I'll definitely look into the Scythe Big Shuriken 2 as well. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Just wanted to mention that in my experience, air coolers can sometimes be noisier than liquid coolers, especially when under heavy load. But if space is a concern for you, an air cooler like the Noctua NH-D15 should work just fine.
Thanks for all the input, everyone! I appreciate your suggestions and experiences with these cooling solutions. I'll do some more research and make my decision based on what's best for my setup.
