I'm building a new PC and looking to buy the best budget CPU cooler for my AMD Ryzen 5 4500. Has anyone tried the Noctua NH-D15? It seems to have good reviews, but is it worth the price?

Yeah, the Noctua NH-D15 is an excellent choice for a budget-friendly cooler. I've been using one with my Ryzen 5 4500 and it works great! The air cooler dissipates heat effectively without making much noise.
I'm not sure about the Noctua NH-D15, but I think the Corsair H80i V2 AIO liquid cooler is also worth considering. It's relatively quiet and has a good cooling performance for the Ryzen 5 4500.
Thanks for the suggestions! How does the noise level compare between the two? I really want to keep my PC as quiet as possible while gaming.
The Noctua NH-D15 is known for its low noise levels, especially when compared to some other air coolers. It should be suitable for your requirements if you're looking for a quieter option.
Another great budget-friendly option is the Deepcool Gammax X40. I've been using it with my Ryzen 5 4500 and it keeps temperatures low while remaining relatively quiet.
That's good to know! What about the TechReviewer article? I saw a link in another thread that compares some of these coolers. Can someone share it?
Sure, here's the link you're looking for: Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 5 4500. It provides a detailed comparison of various CPU coolers, including the Noctua NH-D15, Corsair H80i V2, and Deepcool Gammax X40.
I'll check that out! Based on your experiences, would you recommend getting an air cooler like the Noctua NH-D15 or going for a liquid cooler like the Corsair H80i V2?
It really depends on your personal preferences and budget. Both coolers are good options for the Ryzen 5 4500. If you're looking for a quieter solution, I'd recommend considering the Noctua NH-D15. But if you want something a bit more visually appealing, the Corsair H80i V2 might be a better choice.
Thanks for your input! I think I'll go with the Noctua NH-D15 as it seems to meet my requirements of being quiet and budget-friendly. Appreciate everyone's help!
You're welcome! Enjoy your new build with the Noctua NH-D15! Just make sure you have enough room in your case, so it doesn't interfere with other components.
