I recently bought the LG 27" 27UP850-W, and it's great! The color accuracy is amazing, but the refresh rate is only 60 Hz. I'd recommend checking out the TechReviewer article LG 27" 27UN850-W vs. LG 27" 27UP850-W for a more in-depth comparison between these two models.

Solution

that's helpful. It seems like both have good response times. Does anyone have experience with either of them?

I've been using the LG 27" 27UN850-W for a while now, and I'm quite pleased with it. The resolution is fantastic, and the IPS panel provides great viewing angles. However, the refresh rate could be better.

@MarcoBSi That's right! Both have a response time of 5 ms, which is pretty good for gaming. But if you need more color range, the LG 27" 27UP850-W might be a better choice.

I had the chance to try out both the LG 27" 27UN850-W and LG 27" 27UP850-W side by side, and I must say that the difference in color accuracy between them is noticeable. The LG 27UP850-W offers more vivid colors due to its wider color range.

That's interesting. So it sounds like if I want better colors for games like Cyberpunk 2077, I should go for the LG 27" 27UP850-W?

@tryintomakesense Yeah, if you're into visually rich games and value color accuracy, then the LG 27" 27UP850-W would be the better choice. But remember that its refresh rate is only 60 Hz, which might not be ideal for fast-paced games.

I've played games on both monitors, and I can say that they're both great in their own ways. If you have limited desk space and want a smaller screen, the LG 27" 27UP850-W might work better for you.

Thanks everyone for your insights. It's clear that each monitor has its pros and cons. I'll need to do more research based on my specific needs and budget.

@tryintomakesense Wise decision! Remember, there's no one-size-fits-all answer in gaming monitors. It all depends on what you prioritize in your setup.
