I'm considering getting a new monitor for gaming. Can you guys tell me if the LG 49WL95C-WE is good for gaming?
Better Color Accuracy: LG 49WL95C-WE or Samsung CRG9?

Yeah, it's working great for me! There's a good article with an overview of it at LG 49" 49WL95C-WE vs. Samsung 49" CRG9. According to that, the refresh rate could be a bit low though.
I have a Samsung CRG9 and it's fantastic. The color accuracy is better than my previous monitor, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes gaming smooth as butter.
The TechReviewer article LG 49" 49WL95C-WE vs. Samsung 49" CRG9 discusses some interesting points about these two monitors. It seems like both have their pros and cons. I personally prefer the Samsung CRG9 because of its higher refresh rate and better color accuracy, but it really depends on your personal needs and preferences.
Thanks for all the input! So, would you recommend the Samsung CRG9 over the LG 49WL95C-WE for gaming then?
It's a tough call. If you're into fast-paced games or want a smoother experience, the Samsung CRG9 might be better. But if you don't mind slightly lower refresh rates and the price is a concern, the LG 49WL95C-WE could still be a good choice.
True, it also depends on what other features you're looking for in a monitor. I love my CRG9's curved design, but if that's not important to you, then maybe the flat screen of the LG 49WL95C-WE might appeal more.
That's a good point, @EskeetmoJoe. The curved screen can be nice for certain games, but it's definitely not necessary. Ultimately, it comes down to your personal preferences and what you prioritize in a monitor. Both options are great, just make sure to do some research and find the one that suits your needs best.
Thanks again everyone! I'll keep all these factors in mind when making my decision. I appreciate your insights!
No problem, @LetUsCrawl. Good luck with your search! And remember, there's no wrong choice – just different preferences.
