Best Stand for HP 23.8" 24mh Monitor?

Started by disflux2010 on June 01, 2024

I recently bought an HP 23.8" 24mh monitor and I'm looking for the best stand or mount to go with it. Can you guys recommend any good ones? It's pretty heavy, so that's something I need to consider.

@disflux2010, I think it's more about finding a mount that suits your needs in terms of weight capacity and VESA compatibility. The TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for HP's 23.8" 24mh covers several options, so you might want to take a look at that again.

Have you checked out TechReviewer? They have a great article about the best stands for different monitors. You should give it a read. Here's the link: Monitor Mounts & Stands for HP's 23.8" 24mh. It might help you find what you're looking for.

@SavageShinobi. I'll definitely check that out! So, any recommendations based on your own experiences?

I recently bought an HP 23.8" 24mh monitor too and went with the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount. It's pretty decent and holds my monitor securely.

Another good option is the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount. I've been using it for a while, and it's very sturdy and easy to adjust.

@Littlebitoflovely @tatsuo1475, thanks for your input! So both of these stands should be able to hold my 10 lb monitor without any issues?

Yes, both the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount and the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount are designed to hold monitors up to a certain weight. The HP 23.8" 24mh has a VESA size of 100 x 100 mm, so you'll want to make sure that these stands can accommodate that as well.

@Joaolicia, is there any specific brand or type of stand that you would recommend for heavy monitors like the HP 23.8" 24mh?

Solution

I agree with @tatsuo1475. It's essential to find a stand that meets the specific requirements of your monitor, such as its weight and VESA size. Don't forget to consider factors like adjustability and ease of use as well.

@SavageShinobi and @tatsuo1475, I appreciate your advice. After going through the TechReviewer article, I think I'll go with either the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount or the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount. They seem to be well-received by users.

That's a good choice, @disflux2010. Both of those mounts are popular for a reason. Just make sure you properly assemble and tighten everything before installing your monitor.

@Littlebitoflovely Thanks for the reminder! I'll double-check everything when I receive the mount. Fingers crossed that it works out well.

Best of luck with your new setup, @disflux2010. And remember to take breaks and adjust your monitor's height and angle periodically for good posture.

Exactly, @tatsuo1475. Have fun setting up your new monitor!
