I recently bought a Samsung 85" Q80A TV and am looking to get the best soundbar for it. Can anyone recommend some good options? I've seen some great reviews of Sony and Polk Audio soundbars but need more opinions.
Best Soundbars for Samsung Q80A 85" TV?

The Sony HT-A5000 is a great choice if you're looking for top performance. It supports 5.1.2 channel support, Dolby Atmos integration, and HDMI 2.1 eARC compatibility. I've personally used it with my Samsung TV, and the audio quality was impressive. You can read more about it in this TechReviewer article Best Soundbars for the Samsung 85" Q80A TV.
Another option to consider is the Polk Audio Signa S4. It's an ultra-slim design with Bluetooth support, making it a versatile choice for any setup.
Thanks for the suggestions! The Sony HT-A5000 seems perfect for my needs. I also like that it has HDMI 2.1 eARC compatibility. Is there any downside to choosing this soundbar?
The main downside is that it might be a bit pricey compared to other options, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and performance. If you're looking for the best audio experience, I think it's worth the extra cost.
I've been using the Yamaha YAS-207BL Sound Bar with my Samsung TV, and it's served me well. It has Bluetooth connectivity and good sound quality. It's more budget-friendly than the Sony or Polk options mentioned earlier.
Thank you for the recommendation! I'll definitely check out that Yamaha option as well. Do any of these soundbars have a subwoofer output?
The Sony HT-A5000 does not come with a built-in subwoofer, but it has a dedicated subwoofer output so you can add one if needed. The Polk Audio Signa S4 also lacks a built-in subwoofer, but like the Sony, it offers an output for connecting one separately.
I've found that adding a subwoofer to the Yamaha YAS-207BL significantly enhances the overall sound experience. It's not included with the soundbar, but you can purchase it as an additional accessory.
Great! Thanks for the info everyone. I'll probably go with the Sony HT-A5000 since it fits my requirements perfectly. Do any of you have experiences using wireless rear surround speakers with these soundbars?
I haven't used wireless rear surrounds, but they can be a nice addition to enhance the surround sound experience. The setup and compatibility will depend on the specific soundbar and speakers you choose. Make sure to check the manufacturer's recommendations before purchasing.
Thanks for the advice! I'll keep that in mind as I make my decision. Have any of you had issues with cable management on these soundbars? It can get pretty messy with all the connections.
Cable management is definitely something to consider when choosing a soundbar. The Sony HT-A5000 has some built-in cable management features, which help keep things tidy. However, it's still not completely hassle-free. You might need to invest in some cable management accessories or figure out a system that works for you.
I agree with @vanessasublime. Cable management is essential when setting up a soundbar. The Polk Audio Signa S4 has a cable management system built-in as well, but it still requires some effort to keep things neat and organized. It's worth considering if this aspect is important to you.
Thanks again for all the helpful suggestions! I'll have to look into the best way to handle cable management. I guess that's a small price to pay for having great sound quality. Have a great day, everyone!
