I'm looking for the best soundbar to pair with my new Samsung 65" QN800C TV. Can anyone recommend any good ones?

Hi @vanhuette! I've been using the Sony HT-A5000 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos Sound Bar Surround Sound Home Theater, and it's amazing! It has Bluetooth capability, supports a variety of surround sound formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, HDMI connections for high-quality audio pass-through, and even a subwoofer output for added bass. I've had great experience with the Polk Audio Signa S4 Ultra-Slim Sound Bar. It has HDMI audio support, Optical support, and Bluetooth support as well. The sound quality is pretty good, and it's also quite affordable. You might want to check it out!

Thank you both for your recommendations! I'm leaning towards the Sony HT-A5000 based on @audiodelic536's experience. However, I was wondering if anyone has tried the Bose Model 838309-1100 TV Soundbar? I've heard some good things about it.

I have used the Bose Model 838309-1100 TV Soundbar, and while it's an excellent entry-level option, I believe the Sony HT-A5000 offers better performance in terms of sound quality. It really shines when you're watching action-packed movies or playing games. However, if you're on a budget and don't need all the bells and whistles, the Bose Model 838309-1100 is still a great option.

Thanks for the input @sealion27! I think I'll go with the Sony HT-A5000 then. Just one last question: does anyone have experience using wireless surround speakers with the Samsung 65" QN800C TV? I'm considering adding some to my setup for an even more immersive experience.

Yes, @vanhuette, you can definitely use wireless surround speakers with your Samsung 65" QN800C TV. In fact, many soundbars on the market today, including the Sony HT-A5000, offer support for wireless rear surround speakers. These additional speakers help create a more immersive audio experience by expanding the dimensions of your soundstage.

I've used wireless surround speakers with my Samsung TV and they worked great! The setup was pretty simple, and the additional speakers really made a difference in the overall sound quality. It's definitely worth considering if you're looking for a more cinematic experience at home.

That's great to know! Thanks everyone for your help and advice. I think I'll go ahead and purchase the Sony HT-A5000 and some wireless surround speakers. I'm sure it'll make my movie nights even better!

You're welcome, @vanhuette! Enjoy your new setup and let us know if you have any more questions or want to share your experience with others. Good luck!
