I've been using the Sony HT-A5000 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos Sound Bar Surround Sound Home Theater and it's great! The audio quality is amazing, especially for music and movies. Here's an article with more details on soundbars for Samsung TVs Best Soundbars for the Samsung 65" Q70C TV.

Solution

That's a good recommendation! I've heard the Polk Audio Signa S4 Ultra-Slim Sound Bar isn't bad either.

Thanks for the suggestions. How do you find the setup process? Is it easy to connect them to my TV?

It's pretty simple, just plug in the HDMI or optical cable and you're good to go. The Samsung 65" Q70C has built-in Bluetooth as well, which makes things even easier.

I have a question about surround sound formats. Can these soundbars handle Dolby Atmos and DTS:X?

Yes, both the Sony HT-A5000 and Polk Audio Signa S4 support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. It's one of the reasons why they're great choices for the Samsung 65" Q70C.

Great! I'm also wondering if adding a subwoofer would make a big difference?

A subwoofer can definitely enhance the bass and overall audio experience, but it's up to you whether you want to invest in one. If you're looking for deeper, more impactful lows, then it might be worth considering.

I've been using wireless surround speakers with my soundbar and it really adds another dimension to the audio. It's definitely worth trying out if you have the space and budget for it.

Thanks everyone for the advice! I'll take some time to check these options out and make a decision.
