I'm looking for a soundbar to go with my new Hisense 65" R6 Series TV. Any recommendations?

Hi @PFplanning, I've been using the Sony HT-A5000 soundbar and it's been great so far! There's an article on TechReviewer discussing various options including this one, you can check it out at Best Soundbars for the Hisense 65" R6 Series TV.

Solution

I had a good experience with the Polk Audio Signa S4 Ultra-Slim Sound Bar. It has a compact design which works well for my room size.

Oh nice! Thanks for sharing your experiences guys. I'm leaning towards the Sony HT-A5000 now, but I'm still exploring options.

@PFplanning The article on TechReviewer that @TheRealMonk mentioned has some really interesting points. They suggest a high-end soundbar can be suitable for optimal audio quality, even if it's an entry-level or mid-range one. It also talks about HDMI ARC/eARC which is supported by the Hisense 65" R6 Series TV.

Thanks for sharing that info @Buddhistwalrus, it's really helpful! So should I go with the Sony HT-A5000 or Polk Audio Signa S4?

Both are great options, but if you prefer a more immersive experience and have the budget for it, then the Sony HT-A5000 might be the better choice. It has 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos support which adds a layer of depth to your audio.

Yeah, I think it comes down to personal preference and budget. If you're looking for something more affordable, the Polk Audio Signa S4 is also a great option.

@PFplanning, you might also want to consider the Bluetooth capability if that's important to you. Some TVs support Bluetooth audio which allows you to wirelessly connect your soundbar to your TV or other devices.

Good point @Buddhistwalrus, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I think I'll go check out those soundbars and make a decision.
