I'm looking to upgrade my RAM for my Ryzen 5 3600. Can you recommend some good options?

Yeah, the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 is a solid choice! There's a great article on TechReviewer that provides an overview of it at Best RAM for the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. It's got a clock speed of 3200 MHz and a latency of 10 ns (CL16) which should be perfect for your Ryzen 5 3600.

Solution

I've been using the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 for a while now, and it's been working great. The performance is really good, and it's not too expensive either.

Thanks for the suggestions! What about the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3600? Is that also compatible with my Ryzen 5 3600?

Yeah, both versions - 3200 MHz and 3600 MHz - should work fine with your Ryzen 5 3600. It really depends on your budget and how much RAM you need. If you're looking for a balance between speed and price, the 3200 MHz version might be a better choice.

I've been using the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3600 with my Ryzen 5 3600 for a couple of months now, and I must say, it's been fantastic. The overclocking capabilities are impressive, and it handles heavy multitasking tasks without any issues.

That's great to hear! So, in terms of latency, which one should I go for? The DDR4-3200 with CL16 or the DDR4-3600 with CL18?

Latency is also an important factor to consider. Generally speaking, lower latency results in better performance. However, it's a trade-off between latency and clock speed. For instance, the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 (CL16) offers better latency than the DDR4-3600 (CL18), but the latter has a higher clock speed. You'll have to decide what's more important for your specific use case.

Alright, I think I'll go with the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200. It seems like a good balance between speed and latency for my needs. Thanks for all the advice!

No problem! Enjoy your new RAM!
