I'm looking to buy some new RAM for my i5-9500F. Can anyone recommend the best RAM to pair with this CPU?

Thanks again, everyone! I appreciate your help in narrowing down my options. I'll take a look at the Best RAM for the Intel Core i5-9500F CPU article one more time before making my decision. Have a great day!

I have the same CPU and recently bought Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM for it. It's been working great so far.

I've had a good experience with the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 MHz DDR4 RAM for my i5-9500F. It's faster than the 2666 MHz version and can be overclocked if you want.

Interesting! Can anyone provide more details about these two options? Like their memory speed, latency, and price?

Sure, I've got a TechReviewer article that talks about the best RAM for i5-9500F. You should check it out Best RAM for the Intel Core i5-9500F CPU. It has a lot of useful information and comparisons.

@baboon29, I'll definitely take a look at that article! The Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz and Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 MHz both seem like great options. Can you guys tell me more about their compatibility with the i5-9500F?

Yes, both of these RAM kits are compatible with the i5-9500F. Just make sure to check the specs and choose the one that suits your needs better.

I've read that DDR4 is not as efficient as DDR5. Should I wait for DDR5 RAM instead?

It's true that DDR5 offers better performance in some instances, but it's also more expensive. If you're on a budget or don't need the extra speed, DDR4 like the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz or LPX 3600 MHz should serve you well.

Great advice! Thanks everyone for your input. I think I'll go with either the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz or the LPX 3600 MHz based on my budget and needs. Any tips on choosing between these two?

Well, it really comes down to personal preference and what you need from your RAM. If you want something that's a bit faster and can be overclocked, go for the LPX 3600 MHz. If you're looking for stock-speed DDR4 with nice RGB lighting, then the Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz might be the way to go.
