I'm looking to upgrade the RAM in my computer with a Ryzen 7 4700GE CPU. Can anyone recommend the best RAM brand or model for this specific CPU? I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I recently read an article on TechReviewer about the best RAM options for the AMD Ryzen 7 4700GE CPU. They recommended the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 in both 3200 MHz and 3600 MHz versions, depending on your needs and budget. I've been using Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 RAM with my Ryzen 7 4700GE, and it's working great. The 3200 MHz version has a good balance of speed and latency, making it ideal for gaming and other intensive tasks.

Another option to consider is the G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4. It has a high-speed rating of 3600 MHz and offers excellent performance for gaming and productivity tasks. I've heard that this RAM is compatible with Ryzen CPUs as well.

Solution

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll definitely check out those RAM options. Just to clarify, does anyone have experience with overclocking RAM on a Ryzen 7 4700GE? Is it possible to achieve higher speeds than the maximum supported by the CPU?

Overclocking RAM is absolutely possible on a Ryzen 7 4700GE, but it's important to note that you'll need a motherboard that supports memory overclocking. I've successfully pushed my Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 to 3800 MHz without any issues using the BIOS settings on my ASUS Prime motherboard.

That's great to know! Thanks for the information, @baboon29. I might give overclocking a try once I get the new RAM installed. It sounds like it could improve my system's performance even further.

Just make sure you're careful when overclocking your RAM, as pushing it too far can lead to instability or even damage. Start with small increments and monitor your system's behavior closely to ensure stability.

I agree with @atodamaquina. Overclocking can be a fun experiment, but it's essential to know your limits and not go overboard. Also, remember to update your BIOS if needed to take full advantage of any overclocking features on your motherboard.

Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely proceed with caution when it comes to overclocking. I'm still weighing my options between Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 and G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4, but I think I might go with the Corsair option based on @zoulkyud's recommendation and TechReviewer article.

That sounds like a good choice! Both are excellent options, so you can't go wrong with either one. Good luck with your upgrade, and let us know how it goes!

Will do! Thanks again for all the help and suggestions. I'll post an update once my RAM is installed and I've had a chance to test it out.
