I just bought a new Dell S3422DWG monitor and need some recommendations for the best mounts to consider. Any suggestions would be great!
Best Mounts for Dell S3422DWG?
Started by xRipclawx on May 10, 2024
Hi @xRipclawx! I've been using the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount with my Dell S3422DWG, and it's worked really well for me so far. The TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for Dell's 34" S3422DWG discusses different options in detail. It might help you make a decision.
Thanks for the suggestion, @Mattathon! I was also considering the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount. Have you had any experience with it?
No, but from what I've read, the Ergotron HX is also a good choice. It's pretty much neck and neck with the AVLT in terms of functionality and durability. They both should work fine with your S3422DWG.
Hey there! I've been using the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount for my Dell monitor, and it's been serving me well for a while now. It's more budget-friendly than the other two you mentioned but still does the job effectively.
That's good to know, @lumberjackshirt! Thanks for sharing your experience. I'll definitely check out that VIVO mount as well. How's the cable management on it?
The cable management is decent, @xRipclawx. It has some clips to help keep things organized, but it might not be as seamless as the higher-end mounts.
I've been using the Dell E2720Q monitor with my S3422DWG for quite a while now. I went with the Dell Single Monitor Arm for its simplicity and because it was included in a bundle deal when I bought my monitors.
Thanks for sharing, @andysali13. How would you compare the Dell Single Monitor Arm to the other mounts mentioned here? Are there any major differences?
The Dell Single Monitor Arm is pretty straightforward and easy to set up, @xRipclawx. However, it might not have as many features or adjustments as the others. If you need more flexibility in terms of screen positioning, you might want to look into the AVLT or Ergotron options.
Alright, thanks for all the input! I appreciate everyone's suggestions and experiences. I'll do some more research and see which one suits my needs best. Thanks again!
No problem, @xRipclawx! Good luck with your decision. If you have any questions or need further advice, feel free to ask.
Take care, @xRipclawx! And remember, whichever mount you choose, make sure it has a good return policy just in case it's not what you expected. Happy monitor mounting!
