Best Mount Stand for LG 32UP83A-W?

Started by NinjaViktor on July 11, 2024

I've been looking at different stands and mounts for my new LG 32UP83A-W monitor and could use some advice. What do you guys think is the best mount stand to get?

I recently got the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount, and it's working great! The setup was super easy and it fits the 32UP83A-W perfectly. Plus, there's a good article with an overview of it at Monitor Mounts & Stands for LG's 32" 32UP83A-W.

That sounds perfect! Thanks for the suggestion, I'm definitely considering that one now. Just out of curiosity, how's the cable management on it? I have quite a few cables to deal with.

I've tried both C-clamp and grommet mounts, but neither really worked well for me. The C-clamp was too wobbly, and the grommet mount took some effort to install. In my experience, wall mounts provide better stability and support, especially for heavier monitors like the 32UP83A-W.

I've been using a monitor stand instead of a desk mount, and it's worked great for me. It provides easy height and angle adjustments, and I love that it doesn't take up too much desk space. However, it may not be as efficient in freeing up desk space as some wall or desk mounts.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! Based on what you've said, I think I'll go with a single monitor desk mount like the one @ActuallyMaarten suggested. The cable management is a big deal for me since I have lots of cables to deal with. Do any of you have experience with stands that offer great cable management options?

Yeah, I've noticed that some monitor stands have built-in cable management features. That could be really helpful for keeping things neat and organized.

The HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount also has good cable management, as mentioned by @ActuallyMaarten. It's one of the reasons why I'm considering it for my next monitor stand.

Based on your suggestions, I think I'll go with the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount. It seems to have everything I need and is compatible with the 32UP83A-W. I'll probably order it today!
