Best Monitors for Gaming - LG 32" vs. 27"?

Started by Dunzinia on May 12, 2024

I'm looking to upgrade my gaming setup, and I'm trying to decide between the LG 32" 32GP850-B and the LG 27" 27GP850-B monitors. Has anyone here had experience with these or could give me some recommendations?

I'd go with whatever suits you best, @Dunzinia. Ultimately, it's a matter of your personal preference and what works for your setup. The TechReviewer article I mentioned earlier LG 32" 32GP850-B vs. LG 27" 27GP850-B discusses some great points that could help you decide. It really comes down to whether you want the extra screen real estate or prefer a more compact size.

I've used both of those monitors before, and they're fantastic for gaming! The refresh rates and response times are really impressive. I personally prefer the 32" because it gives you more screen real estate, which is great for productivity as well as gaming. But that's just my preference - you should check out this TechReviewer article LG 32" 32GP850-B vs. LG 27" 27GP850-B for a more in-depth comparison. It covers everything from resolution to color accuracy.

Thanks for your input! I'm torn between the two. The 27" monitor seems like it would be better for space constraints, but the larger screen size of the 32" does appeal to me. Any thoughts on how well these monitors handle different types of games?

I agree with @spencerfitch - space is a concern for me too. But I did find that the 27" was more than capable of handling my gaming needs, even though it's smaller than the 32". It has great color accuracy and a fantastic IPS panel. As for different game types, both monitors perform really well across the board. The difference in screen size is more about personal preference.

I'm new here but wanted to share my experience with these two monitors. I've been using the 32" monitor for a few months now, and it's amazing for gaming. I love the ultra-wide screen - it really adds to the immersive experience. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricier than the 27" model.

Thanks all for your insights! So, would anyone recommend going with the LG 32" or the LG 27" based on their personal experiences? I'm starting to lean towards the 27" because of its better color accuracy and smaller size, which fits my desk better.

Solution

I agree with both @Squeaks02 and @JeffSchrembs. In the end, it's about what feels right for you. I've been happy with both monitors, but I can see why someone might lean towards one over the other. The 32" is great if you have the space and want that extra screen real estate, while the 27" offers excellent color accuracy and fits in smaller spaces.

Thank you all so much for your advice! It's really helpful to hear from people who've used these monitors. Based on what you've said, I think I'll go with the LG 27" monitor since it fits better on my desk and has great color accuracy. But if space isn't an issue, the 32" monitor is also a fantastic choice. Thanks again!
