I've been looking for a monitor mount for my new Dell S2721DGF and could use some suggestions. Anyone have any recommendations?

@salsita96, I haven't personally used a wall mount, but according to the TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for Dell's 27" S2721DGF that @jdthunderhawk mentioned earlier, some people have had good experiences with them. They offer superior stability and can accommodate heavy screens like the S2721DGF.

Hi @salsita96! I've been using the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount with my Dell S2721DGF and it's worked great so far. You can find more information in this TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for Dell's 27" S2721DGF.

That sounds interesting, @jdthunderhawk! Thanks for sharing that link. What are your thoughts on its build quality and ease of installation?

Hey @salsita96, I've also been using a HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount with my S2721DGF, and it's been great! The build quality feels solid, and the installation was pretty straightforward. Plus, it offers some extra features like cable management.

I recently got the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount for my S2721DGF, and I'm really happy with it. It's quite flexible in terms of positioning and feels very stable on my desk.

Glad to hear that @Moose1956 and @MesmerizingHS are having good experiences with their respective mounts. Each one has its pros and cons, so it ultimately comes down to personal preference. I think it's important to consider the weight capacity of the mount since the S2721DGF is quite heavy.

Thanks for all the input, everyone! These recommendations are really helpful. I'll definitely be looking into these options. One last question: does anyone have experience with using a monitor wall mount with their S2721DGF?

Solution

Yeah, I've also read in the same TechReviewer article that a monitor wall mount could be a good option if you want to keep your desk tidy without any monitors on it. The installation might be more complicated, though, as it may require drilling into your wall.

That's true, @MesmerizingHS. Wall mounts do provide a clean desk look and great stability but come with the added complexity of installation. It ultimately depends on your preferences and specific needs.
