I'm considering getting an LG 49" TV as my next gaming monitor. Can you give me some recommendations? I've been looking at the 49WL95C-WY and 49BL95C-WY.
Best LG 49" TV for Gaming?

Yeah, I recently got the 49WL95C-WY and it's been working great for me! The resolution is amazing, and I haven't encountered any issues so far. You can check out this TechReviewer article LG 49" 49WL95C-WY vs. LG 49" 49BL95C-WY for more details on these two models.
Thanks for sharing, @daastheboss. I've been using the 49BL95C-WY, and it's also a great choice! Both have the same specs like 5120 x 1440 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, but they are slightly different in terms of design. The 49WL95C-WY has a 32:9 ultra-wide display, which gives you an incredible field of view for gaming.
Interesting! I didn't know about the ultra-wide aspect ratio. So, is the refresh rate of 60Hz enough for gaming or should I aim for something higher?
I've been using a monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate and it's made a huge difference in my gaming experience. However, both the 49WL95C-WY and 49BL95C-WY have a 60Hz refresh rate, so if you're mainly watching movies or browsing the web, they should be fine.
Thanks for the input! So, I guess it really depends on my specific needs. Do you guys have any experience with input lag? That's another important factor for me.
For me, there was no noticeable input lag with either of these TVs. They both have a 5ms response time, which is decent but not the best out there. If you want to minimize input lag, it might be worth considering monitors with even lower response times or higher refresh rates.
You're right, @daastheboss. I also wanted to mention that you can find more detailed information about these two models in this TechReviewer article LG 49" 49WL95C-WY vs. LG 49" 49BL95C-WY. It discusses the aspects you mentioned, such as the 60Hz refresh rate and 5ms response time, and compares them with other options available.
Thanks for all the help! I appreciate your insights. Based on everything discussed here, it seems like both models could work well for me. I'll do some more research and decide which one to go for.
No problem, @polynumeron! Good luck with your decision. And remember, personal preference plays a big role too, so don't forget to read reviews and try them out if possible.
Absolutely, @polynumeron. I hope you find the perfect TV for your gaming setup!
