Hey there! I recently read an article on TechReviewer about the best DACs with amps for Samson SR850 headphones, and it was really helpful. I found that the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M is a top high-end option, while the ARC Mk2 - Headphone Amplifier & DAC is a great mid-range choice. Hi @shouldbegood! I've had great experience with DACs, so I thought I'd chime in. A DAC amp can definitely enhance the audio quality of your headphones. The Samson SR850 headphones have an impedance of 32 ohms and a sound pressure level (SPL) of 98 dB/mW. You might benefit from a DAC amp if you're looking for better sound clarity and more power.

That's interesting! Thanks for sharing, @LionLambert. The Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M and the ARC Mk2 both sound like good options. I'll definitely take a look at that article you mentioned.

Hey, I've been using a DAC amp with my SR850 headphones for quite some time now, and I must say it has made a huge difference in the audio quality. The extra power really helps when listening to bass-heavy music or watching movies.

Wow, that's great to know! So, it seems like a DAC amp could be beneficial for me. I'll look into those two options you guys mentioned and see which one suits my needs best.

Just make sure the DAC amp you choose is compatible with your music player and other audio equipment. It's important to have everything working well together.

Good point, @agresticoak. I'll keep that in mind as I do my research. Thanks for all the advice, everyone!

No problem, @shouldbegood! If you have any more questions or need help along the way, feel free to ask. Happy listening!
