I recently built a computer with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor and I'm looking for the best CPU cooler to go along with it. Can you guys recommend some coolers that work well with this CPU? Any feedback would be appreciated!

Hey, I've been using the CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid CPU Cooler with my Ryzen 7 5700G and it's been great so far! The liquid cooling provides excellent heat dissipation and keeps my CPU cool even during intense gaming sessions. It also has an LCD display which adds a nice touch to my build. I found this TechReviewer article Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 7 5700G that compares various coolers for the Ryzen 7 5700G, it might be helpful for you!
@kunkunkun That sounds awesome! The LCD display is a neat feature and the fact that it keeps your CPU cool during gaming sessions is great. Thanks for the recommendation and sharing the link!
I have been using the Noctua NH-D15 as my CPU cooler with the Ryzen 7 5700G and it has been performing well. It's an air cooler but the performance has been impressive so far. The build quality is fantastic too! You might want to check out some user reviews on this one.
@sayyylem Thanks for sharing your experience, @sayyylem. I'm considering between the liquid and air coolers, so having both options discussed here helps a lot!
I've been using an open-loop cooler with my Ryzen 7 5700G and it has given me great cooling performance. However, be prepared for some maintenance as they can be more complicated to set up compared to closed-loop coolers.
@LathanumFort Thanks for the input, @LathanumFort. I'm starting to lean towards a liquid cooler but your point about maintenance is something to consider too.
One thing to keep in mind when choosing a CPU cooler is the TDP of your Ryzen 7 5700G. Make sure you select a cooler that can handle the peak TDP of 88 watts for efficient heat management. Also, check out TechReviewer's article Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 7 5700G for more information on selecting the best cooler for your AMD Ryzen 7 5700G.
@ImpressedIndividual Thanks for the advice, @ImpressedIndividual. I'll definitely take a look at that TechReviewer article you mentioned. Appreciate it!
No problem, @mtntrails2. Just to add, I've found that my CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid CPU Cooler does an excellent job of managing the heat output of my Ryzen 7 5700G. The cooler is also relatively quiet, which has been a bonus for me.
For those considering air coolers like myself, be sure to check compatibility with your case and motherboard before making a decision. Dual-fan air coolers can take up quite a bit of space!
@kunkunkun @sayyylem Thanks for the tips! I think I'm leaning more towards the liquid cooler now due to better heat management and quieter performance, but will keep in mind the size considerations.
Just make sure you get a cooler with a compatible mounting bracket for your Ryzen 7 5700G. The AM4 socket requires specific brackets, so check before purchasing!
@LathanumFort Good point, @LathanumFort. I'll double-check that as well. Thanks again everyone for the advice! Looks like I've got some research to do before making my final decision.
