I just bought a new ViewSonic VA2719-2K-Smhd monitor and I need some advice on the best arm/mount for it. Any recommendations?

That's a great suggestion! You should also check out TechReviewer's article on the best arms for this specific monitor. It covers different types and even offers some recommendations based on your needs. The link is Monitor Mounts & Stands for ViewSonic's 27" VA2719-2K-Smhd.

For your ViewSonic VA2719-2K-Smhd monitor, I recommend looking into VESA mounts that are compatible with its 100 x 100 mm VESA size and its weight of 10 lbs.

Solution

Yeah, I've been using the ViewSonic VA2719-2K-Smhd with a VESA mount for a while now and it's worked great! It's really versatile and easy to adjust.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll definitely check out that article @happilypermanent mentioned. Do any of you have experience using wall mounts? I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get one for my monitor.

I've tried a wall mount with my ViewSonic VA2719-2K-Smhd and it worked well, but it did require some effort to install. If you're willing to put in the work, it's definitely an option worth considering.

It really depends on your setup. Wall mounts are great for keeping your desk clutter-free, but they can be a bit of a hassle to install. You'll also need to ensure that your wall is strong enough to support the weight of the monitor.

Thanks for all the input! I think I'll look into VESA mounts first and see how I like them. If I decide to switch to a wall mount later on, at least I'll have options!

Sounds like a plan! And don't forget to check out that TechReviewer article @happilypermanent shared earlier. It could help you make your decision.
