I've seen some TechReviewer articles discussing cable management in different monitor mounts. You might find their recommendations useful for your situation. Check out this article Monitor Mounts & Stands for BenQ's 24.5" Zowie XL2540K to learn more.

I've been using the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount for a while now, and it's served me well. It's not as fancy as some of the higher-end models, but it gets the job done without any issues.

That's a good choice! I used the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount with my previous monitor and was happy with its sturdiness and adjustability. You might want to consider it as well.

Thanks for the suggestions! Do you think either of these mounts can handle the weight of my 24.5" BenQ Zowie XL2540K, which weighs about 13 lbs?

I'm not sure about the exact weight capacity of the VIVO mount, but it's been working fine with my setup. You might want to check their website or contact their customer service for more information.

The Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount has a weight capacity of up to 42 lbs, so it should definitely be able to handle your monitor. Plus, it offers great adjustability and sturdiness.

that's good to know! I'll take a closer look at the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount. What about cable management? Does it have any organizational features?

Solution

That's a great idea, thanks! I'll read the TechReviewer article on cable management. In the meantime, does anyone have any experience with cable management features on either the VIVO or Ergotron mounts?

I haven't had any issues with cable management on my VIVO mount. It comes with some clips that help keep things tidy, but it's not as seamless as higher-end models.

On the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount, I found that while it has a cable management system, it could be improved. The design is good for keeping cables off the desk surface, but organizing them behind the monitor can still be a bit tricky.

Thanks for all your input! I'll definitely check out the TechReviewer article on cable management and consider both the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount and the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount. Any other tips or recommendations?

I think you've covered most of the important aspects. Just make sure to properly tighten your mount, especially if you're using a heavier monitor like yours.

Exactly! And don't forget to measure your desk space before making a purchase. You'll want to ensure that the mount fits comfortably on your desk without causing any obstructions.

Great advice, thanks everyone! I'll take all of this into consideration and make my decision. Have a great day!

You're welcome! Good luck with your new monitor setup!
