I've been considering getting a BenQ SW240 monitor, but I'm unsure if the swivel mount is necessary. Can anyone share their thoughts on this?
BenQ SW240 Swivel Mount Necessary?
Started by xRipclawx on June 21, 2024
Hi @xRipclawx, I've had my BenQ SW240 for a while now and it's working great without a swivel mount! The monitor itself has pretty good adjustability, so you might not need one.
Thanks for sharing your experience, @nickcicero. I did some research and found that a swivel mount can provide improved adjustability and convenience. Have any of you used a swivel mount with the BenQ SW240? Also, there's an article discussing different monitor mounts, including the swivel type. You can check it out here: Monitor Mounts & Stands for BenQ's 24" SW240.
That's interesting! I didn't realize that a swivel mount could offer those benefits. The article you mentioned, @herrokatie, looks really helpful. I'll definitely give it a read.
Yeah, I've seen some people using swivel mounts for their BenQ SW240 monitors and they seemed to enjoy the added flexibility. It's worth considering if you think you'd benefit from it.
I used a swivel mount with my BenQ SW240, and it made a huge difference in terms of adjustability and comfort while working long hours. I would recommend it!
Thanks for the input, @Nanomachines-Son. That's pretty much what I was looking for - an extra degree of freedom when adjusting my monitor. I'll probably go ahead and get a swivel mount for my future setup.
Great choice, @xRipclawx! If you have any questions or need help with the setup later on, feel free to ask us here in the forum. Good luck with your new monitor and swivel mount!
Thanks for the advice, everyone! I'll be sure to read up on the article @herrokatie shared about monitor mounts and make my decision based on that. Have a great day!
