I'm looking to buy a new gaming monitor, but I can't decide between the BenQ 23.8" GW2480 and the BenQ 21.5" GW2283. Can anyone give me some advice on which one is better for gaming?
BenQ GW2480 vs. GW2283 for Gaming?

The resolution of both monitors is decent for gaming, but their refresh rates are a bit low at only 60 Hz.
According to TechReviewer article BenQ 23.8" GW2480 vs. BenQ 21.5" GW2283, it's recommended to choose a monitor with at least 120 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time for the best gaming experience. Both GW2480 and GW2283 have a response time of 5 ms, which is good but not great for gaming.
Both monitors have an IPS display panel, which is excellent for color accuracy and viewing angles. This can be beneficial when playing games with vibrant graphics.
I've used the BenQ GW2480 for a while now, and I must say it's fantastic! The higher refresh rate makes a huge difference in gaming, especially during fast-paced matches like Apex Legends. The resolution is also great for immersive gaming experiences.
That's interesting to know! But what about the smaller size of BenQ GW2283? Could that be an advantage if you have limited desk space?
Good point! I didn't consider the size difference before. I think it would be a problem if my desk is too small for the larger monitor.
The size can matter, especially if you're in a tight space or want to multitask easily with other applications open alongside your game. The 21.5-inch GW2283 could be more suitable for those situations.
I agree with @CardiacCatFan. Size is an important factor when choosing a monitor, particularly if you have limited desk space or plan on using multiple applications simultaneously.
Thanks for the advice! I think I'll look into both options further and decide based on my specific needs and available desk space.
