BenQ EW3280U vs. Dell U3219Q - Gaming Comparison?

Started by ohneNamen1 on June 21, 2024

I'm considering buying a new monitor for my gaming setup and I was wondering if the BenQ EW3280U or Dell U3219Q would be better. Has anyone had experience with either of these?

Both monitors have a refresh rate of 60Hz which might not be ideal if you're looking for something smoother. However, there's an article discussing these two monitors BenQ 32" EW3280U vs. Dell 32" UltraSharp U3219Q that can give you more insight. I found it helpful when I was trying to decide between the two.

I've used both, and they're pretty comparable! I think it really comes down to personal preference and what you value more in a monitor.

Yeah, for me the refresh rate was a huge deal when choosing my monitor. I went with a 144Hz one because I play a lot of fast-paced games, and the difference in smoothness is noticeable.

Thanks for sharing the link, @DJredditer. So based on your experience and the article, which one would you recommend?

As I said earlier, it really comes down to personal preference. Both monitors have great features, but if you're looking for something with a higher refresh rate, then maybe the other options out there might be better suited.

That's true @hardinMI. It's also important to consider your budget and the type of games you play. For example, if you play a lot of FPS games or competitive games where every millisecond counts, a higher refresh rate might be more important to you. But for casual gaming or other types of games, the lower refresh rate might not make much difference.

Interesting points @DJredditer and @hardinMI. So I guess I'll have to think about what kind of games I mostly play before making a decision. Thanks for the advice!

You're welcome @ohneNamen1, glad we could help! And remember, it's always good to do some research on your own too. Good luck with your decision!

Absolutely! Happy gaming, everyone!
