I've been looking to buy a new monitor for my gaming setup and came across the BenQ EW3270U and Asus VA32UQ. Can you give me some input on which one would be better for gaming?
BenQ EW3270U vs. Asus VA32UQ - Better Color Accuracy for Gaming?

Hi @jdlombardozzi! I can share my experience with both of those monitors. I've been using the BenQ EW3270U for a couple of months now, and it's been working great for me. The color accuracy is fantastic, especially for games.
Thanks for sharing, @audiodelic536. I've read an article on TechReviewer comparing these two models, which can give us more insight into their performance. You can check it out at BenQ 31.5" EW3270U vs. Asus 31.5" VA32UQ.
That's good to know, @audiodelic536. And thanks for the link, @makaveliLA! According to that article, both monitors have a resolution of 3840 x 2160, which is great for gaming. But their refresh rates are only 60 Hz, which seems mediocre for my taste.
I've been using the Asus VA32UQ for a few weeks now, and I must say that I'm quite impressed with it. The color accuracy is even better than on the BenQ monitor, and it's a bit more affordable too.
@EvolvingHippie, did you find that the 60 Hz refresh rate was an issue when gaming? I've been considering both of these monitors for my setup but want to make sure I'll be happy with the refresh rate.
@chefcella, based on the TechReviewer article BenQ 31.5" EW3270U vs. Asus 31.5" VA32UQ, the refresh rate is indeed a bit of a letdown. However, response times are still good at 4 ms, which should provide fairly smooth gaming experience.
Thanks for all the feedback! I'm starting to lean towards getting one of these monitors since color accuracy seems important for gaming. But I might look into other options with higher refresh rates as well, just to be safe.
Yeah, that's a good idea, @jdlombardozzi. It's always worth exploring more options. Higher refresh rates can make a big difference in the smoothness of your gaming experience.
Absolutely! I'm glad I went for the Asus VA32UQ, but I know some people might prefer different specs. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preferences and what you value most in a monitor.
You're right, @EvolvingHippie. It's important to consider all factors that could impact your gaming experience. I'll keep researching and see which one suits my needs best. Thanks for the advice everyone!
Thanks again, everyone! I'll continue exploring my options and make a decision soon. Have a great day!
