B450 for AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D?

I'm looking at getting a new motherboard and was wondering if the B450 would be compatible with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU? I've heard mixed things.

Well, I've been using a B450 board with my Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU and it works perfectly fine. The only downside is that you won't be able to fully utilize PCIe 4.0 speeds for all your slots.

That's true @MagicMau5. If you want full PCIe 4.0 support, then the X570 chipset would be a better option. However, if you're on a budget and don't need all those extra features, B450 is still a good choice.
