Has anyone tried using the Dell Alienware AW3420DW monitor for gaming? I'm looking to upgrade my setup and was wondering if it's worth it.
AW3420DW Response Time for Gaming?

Yeah, I've been using it for a couple of months now. It's an amazing monitor! The response time is super low, which makes games feel really smooth. The colors are also very vibrant, so everything looks great. You should definitely check out this review on TechReviewer: Is the Dell 34" Alienware AW3420DW Good for Gaming?
That sounds awesome! I'm always looking for ways to improve my gaming experience, and a good monitor can make a huge difference. What about the refresh rate? Does it affect the gaming experience?
The refresh rate is also really good at 120Hz, which helps with smooth gameplay, especially in fast-paced games like first-person shooters. I haven't noticed any issues with it while playing.
I've been using the Dell Alienware AW3420DW for a few weeks now and I must say, I'm impressed! The response time is indeed excellent, and I've noticed less ghosting than on my previous monitor. The 120Hz refresh rate is great too, especially when playing games like Fortnite.
That's good to hear! I'm leaning more towards getting this monitor now. Thanks for the input, everyone!
I have a question regarding response time and gaming - does it make much of a difference in games that aren't super fast-paced?
In my experience, even in slower-paced games, having a good response time helps with maintaining smooth visuals. However, the impact may not be as noticeable compared to faster-paced games.
I've noticed that lower response times definitely help when it comes to aiming and precision in shooters. It's harder to predict where an enemy will move on a higher-latency display.
True! I can see how a lower response time would benefit competitive gaming. But for me, I mostly play RPGs and strategy games, so I'm not sure if the AW3420DW would make much of a difference in those genres.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! I think I'll go ahead and get the Dell Alienware AW3420DW. It seems like it would be great for any type of game.
