Asus XG27AQ vs. XG279Q: Best for Gaming?

Started by tabbymac on June 11, 2024

I've been looking to upgrade my monitor and after doing some research, I came across the Asus XG27AQ and XG279Q. I'm having trouble deciding which one is better for gaming. Has anyone here had experience with either of these monitors?

@tabbymac I've used both of these monitors, and in my opinion, they're equally great for gaming! You can check out a detailed comparison on TechReviewer at Asus 27" XG27AQ vs. Asus 27" XG279Q. They covered quite a few factors including refresh rate, response time, and resolution.

@tabbymac I have a friend who recently got an Asus XG27AQ, and they love it! They said the refresh rate and resolution are excellent for gaming.

Yeah, both those monitors seem great. But what about the response time? That's pretty important for smooth gaming too, right?

@iwannatryem That's helpful, thanks! So according to you, is there any significant difference between the two in terms of gaming performance?

I think both have really good color accuracy as well. That makes them suitable for both gaming and content creation tasks.

True, but what about the price? Are these monitors affordable compared to other gaming monitors on the market?

@CptRavioli They're pretty reasonably priced considering their features and performance. However, prices can vary depending on where you buy them from. It might be worth checking out some deals or discounts.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely check out those monitors and see if they fit my budget.

Remember to read reviews online as well before making your decision. Sometimes, user experiences can give you a better idea of what to expect.

Good point! I'll do some more research and maybe visit a few stores to compare them firsthand.

@CptRavioli That sounds like a solid plan. Good luck with your search!
