Hey, I've been looking at getting a new gaming monitor and came across the Asus XG279Q and PG279QM. Can anyone give me some input on which one would be better for my setup?

I've used both of them before and I think it depends on what games you play. For fast-paced games, the PG279QM is better due to its higher refresh rate.

I have the XG279Q and it's great for my needs. The response time and resolution are excellent. You should try some out in person if you can.

Yeah, and don't forget about the resolution too. Both monitors have great resolutions so that's a tie for sure.

True. I also want to mention that my friend who is into competitive gaming got the PG279QM and he loves it. Says it makes a huge difference in his performance.
